From June 1 to 4, 2026, Meisel Musikverlage, in collaboration with BUJA! Publishing and Sony Music Publishing, hosted the first-ever songwriting camp, “Meisel Music meets BUJA! x Sony Music Publishing (Dance Edition),” at the historic Hansa Studios in Berlin.
With a focus on electronic music and dance, more than 25 female songwriters, producers, and artists from the networks of the three music publishers came together to develop new musical ideas and collaborate on future releases. During the three intensive writing days, over 20 new songs were created in ever-changing team configurations.
The event kicked off with a get-together that fostered creative exchange and helped participants get to know one another. The inspiring atmosphere of Hansa Studios provided the ideal setting for intensive sessions, new collaborations, and creative teamwork.
The camp concluded with a listening session during which the first demos of the songs created were presented. In addition to the musical results, the focus was above all on the new connections made and the personal exchanges. The consistently positive feedback from the participants underscored the great importance of collaborative creative work for the development of new music projects.
With more than 20 songs created and numerous new partnerships formed, the first joint songwriting camp organized by Meisel Music, BUJA! Publishing, and Sony Music Publishing was a successful kickoff—and a promising foundation for further collaborative projects.
