Meisel Musikverlage has signed the talented songwriter Alexa Voss for an exclusive and long-term collaboration. With her unique voice and extraordinary songwriting talent, Alexa Voss is one of the most promising artists and songwriters on the music scene.
Alexa Voss, also known under the pseudonym Flinte, is a versatile songwriter whose creative energy and passion for music characterize her work. Based in Berlin, she successfully writes songs in German and English for a variety of artists in different genres. She feels particularly at home in the pop, indie, urban and pop music scene.
Over the past few years, Alexa Voss has built up an impressive network and made a significant contribution to the establishment of the publishing house welovemelodies.
As frontwoman of the German indie pop band Flinte, she embodies a wonderful blend of smoky voice, edgy poetry and a sound that conjures up images in the mind. The band has established itself as a permanent fixture in the German indie pop scene.
With the additional founding of her own “Edition Peng Peng” at Meisel, she shows her commitment to the promotion of up-and-coming talent and the organization of inspiring songwriting camps.
“Meisel Musikverlage combines tradition, openness to the present and a desire for the future. For me, it’s exactly the right home to be able to pass on my passion for music across all genres,” comments Alexa Voss on the partnership.
Kirsten Meisel, Managing Director of Meisel Musikverlage, says: “We are thrilled to welcome Alexa Voss to our team. Her talent and versatility enrich our publishing family and we look forward to exploring new creative avenues together.”
Christopher Gronau, Senior A&R Meisel Musikverlage, adds: “We are looking forward to an inspiring collaboration and to shaping the future of music together.” To kick off their collaboration, Meisel Musikverlage and Alexa Voss are organizing the first FEMALE FUTURE FLINTA* camp at Hansa Studios in Berlin at the beginning of April.
